Welcome to my blog. Sit back, listen to the music (if I can ever get it to work again), experience a little visual stimulation and enjoy.

I'm really having fun with this series.  Always wanted to be a dancer when I was young, but life and piano lessons seemed to get in the way.

Night Out

Second in a series called "Dance" these are more found images made from chaos.  I really love this kind of painting - it makes me use my imagination.

Moon Dance

Some friends thought it would be a good idea to have a "Big Moon Party" the other night when the moon was in it's super moon phase.  We were a lot more laid back than this painting, but I love the exuberance!  I may have felt that way, and even howled once or twice.

"Poof" the magic dragon

The third in the "found" images collection, "Poof" appeared as a sort of dog.  Even though this is a little on the gory side, I still like it for it's drama.

Goofy Girl

The second installment of "found" images.  Goofy Girl was the "found" image - her face appeared  complete with eye and lips.

Geisha in Gear

This is the first in a series of "found" images created by making a background the then picking images from it.  The painting actually selects the subject matter, my imagination just enhances what I see.

Pear 4

Fourth in the series.  This one looks as if it's on fire.  My kind of autumn colors.

About Me

I was married - for a really long time to the most interesting man in the world - Wayne Harmon. He is gone now, but never forgotten. We have one child, and two amazing grandchildren. I've been painting all my life, and consider myself a born teacher and a story teller.
